Booking and Payment
All bookings must be made in advance via our online booking system.
Bookings are for private use, and only the person(s) who booked the field are permitted to use it during the reserved time.
Bookings are nonrefundable unless cancelled at least 48 hours in advance.
Cancellations and Changes
In the case of cancellations within 48 hours, rescheduling is allowed based on availability
Kilters Hounds reserves the right to cancel or reschedule bookings in the event of severe weather or any other circumstances that may render the field unsafe or unsuitable for use.
In the event of a cancellation by Kilters Hounds, users will be offered a full refund or an opportunity to reschedule their booking.
Field Use
The field may only be used for exercising dogs. No commercial activities or events without prior approval.
Users must arrive and vacate the field within their booked time slot. Please ensure the field is vacated promptly to respect other users’ time.
Early arrivals must stay in the waiting area until the agreed start time. Please stay in the car with the dogs so not to upset dogs already in the fields. Do not arrive more than 5 minutes before your start time.
On leaving the field you must lock the gate, even if someone is in the waiting area.
Please park in the inner carpark whilst using the fields
Maximum of 8 dogs per session unless prior approval is given.
Dogs must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times while in the field.
All fencing is between 4ft – 6ft. If your dog can jump higher than the fencing, Kilters cannot accept responsibility for escapees.
Dog Control and Behaviour
All dogs must be kept under control at all times. Aggressive behaviour towards other dogs or people will not be tolerated.
Any dog displaying aggressive or antisocial behaviour should be removed from the field immediately.
All users must pick up after their dogs. Waste bags must be disposed of in the bins provided.
Health & Safety
All dogs must be uptodate with vaccinations and free of any contagious diseases.
Users must close and secure all gates when entering or leaving the field to maintain the safety of the area.
The field is enclosed, but it remains the responsibility of the dog owners to ensure that their dogs do not escape or cause damage.
Users are advised to inspect the field before use to ensure it is safe for their dogs. Any hazards or damages should be reported to Kilters Hounds immediately. Parts of the field may not be completely level, users should be aware of this to avoid injury to themselves and their dogs.
Liability
Kilters Hounds is not liable for any injury, damage, or loss sustained by users or their dogs during their use of the field.
Users accept full responsibility for the actions of their dogs and any damage caused to the field or other users.
Users are responsible for ensuring that they and their dogs are adequately insured.
Users are responsible for any damage to the field, fencing, or facilities caused by their dogs or their actions. Costs incurred due to damage will be charged to the responsible party.
Vehicles are parked at the owner’s risk. Kilters Hounds Dog Field cannot be held responsible for any accidents, damage or loss that may occur to your vehicle.
The user who makes the booking is the person responsible for all persons and dogs in the field during their time slot.
We recommend that you have public liability insurance, often included in your pet or home insurance policy
Code of Conduct
Users must be respectful to neighbouring properties and avoid causing any nuisance, including excessive noise.
Littering is strictly prohibited. Users are expected to leave the field clean and tidy after use.
The field is a nonsmoking area. If someone is caught smoking in the field you will be banned from returning.
Users must respect the field and its contents at all times. Children should not climb the gate, fences or equipment or be left unattended at any time.
Data Protection
Any personal information collected at the time of booking will be stored securely and used only for the purpose of managing bookings and field maintenance. It will not be shared with third parties.
Amendments
Kilters Hounds reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to users in advance.
By booking and using the Kilters Hounds Dog Field, you agree to adhere to these terms and conditions. Noncompliance may result in termination of your booking and potential banning from future use.
